Biden's Remarks in Tampa

This is such a classic Joe Biden speech I had to put the text up for anyone who missed it earlier.

I just don't know many men who are so shameless in referring to their kids as "honey", and he really relates to parents having job problems.

"My dad made that walk when I was a kid in our home in Scranton, Pennsylvania. I remember vividly my father walking up the stairs and I sitting on the end of the bed with my sister, Valerie, the only one old enough to understand what he was talking about. He said, “I’m sorry, honey, but I’m going to have to move."

Plus his pitch for the high speed fail was great too..

"Having made over 7,900 round trips, literally, on Amtrak, 250 miles a day, I am very familiar with rail. And today you have no idea how pleased I am to talk about the announcement that we made yesterday awarding — in total, nationwide — nearly $8 billion from the Recovery Act, funding to move us in the direction of developing a high-speed rail service in 13 travel corridors covering 31 states all across this country."

I lucked out - CSpan showed Joe's speech as well as Obama's.

I was so pissed. I really had to leave the house.
Thank goodness for the DVR... I swear - everytime I want to leave the house - Obama decides to make a speech - never fails. :P
