1. Oh wow
I got teary-eyed reading all the positive responses about Joe. People were expressing most of the things that we all love about Joe. For all that he's done, it is bizarre that swearing would get him so much recognition.

I only hope that I never see that "look" on Obama's face again when Joe speaks. As much as I admire Obama, I cringe whenever he does that. I'll bet they're befuddled in the White House right now trying to figure out why Joe got so much positive attention over a "gaffe"!!! Try talking like real people - try connecting you guys!

2. I'll go back and read the extra posts I missed -- did they mention 'the look'?
I thought I saw it but I'm not sure if I'm over-sensitive to it since it enraged us so much when he used it before.

3. To me,
it seems better to show displeasure in private, not in public, especially if it is toward one's VP. People all over the world can see it and it affects Joe's credibility abroad where he is highly respected. I could be over-sensitive as well, but it sure looked condescending to me.

4. I didn't see where anybody mentioned it, but I may have missed it.
Looked like it to me, too, but not nearly as bad as it used to be.

I was thinking, how would he have reacted had it been Rahm saying it to him?

And -- I wonder what the general sense around the WH is? Even Gibbs tweeted yesterday "yes, Mr. Vice President, it is." or something like that. Hopefully they're all enjoying it as much as we are.

Pat Buchanan told Tweety yesterday he laughed and laughed when he heard it. Tweety said "I'm sorry you had to hear that word, Pat" and PB said "I've heard it once before, from Dick Cheney" it was pretty funny.

5. I saw that
If Pat Buchanan thought it was funny, I don't think we'll hear anything too negative about it.

Good point about Rahm. Obama has made jokes about his salty language. I love Gibbs for responding that way. It was the perfect reaction instead going into damage control mode. They've gotten much better.
