He sounds like a good 'ol boy Sheriff from the 30's and 40's. Amazing story -- and let me know about this guy who's running for AG!

Reminds me of Edgar Hoover, who got away with so much crap for so many years. He had so much power, everyone was afraid to go after him because of the repercussions. Hope this guy gets what is coming to him.

is that people around here love him. Even Dems. Even Hispanics. And I know Republicans that can't stand him.
The story that isn't told is that many many Mexicans that are here legally have no patience for those that come here illegally.
I know - that's a head scratcher, but I hear it all the time. They did it right & feel others should have to go through what they went thru to become a legal citizen.

Arpaio has been investigated over and over. The newspapers have done lengthy write-ups about his abuse of power, but the people keep voting him in.

3. Actually I've heard that alot

about Hispanics who come here legally resenting those who don't. It is understandable, being they did everything the right way and the illegals make them look bad.

Is it possible that the elections are rigged? Arpaio sounds like something out of a movie. On the upside, he is pretty old, so he can't live forever. Or can he????

4. Our elections rigged? Let me put it to you this way

Before Jan Brewer was elevated to Governor, she was Sec of State. So yes - it's possible, but seriously, alot of Arizonans love him...even die-hard Dems. :(

6. I'd be angry at fellow countrymen if they came to a country where I'd had to go

through all the crap and because of them I'd be getting pulled over driving down the street. But the anger really should be focused toward those who employ them, unfortunately the Republicans seem to keep that from happening.
