More than 30 U.S. Air Forces Southern Airmen, a KC-135 Stratotanker, two F-16 Fighting Falcons and an F-16 demonstration team deployed to the Honduran Armando Escalon Air Base to participate in the show, which raised more than $35,000 for Mario Catarino Rivas Hospital here.

Isn't this a remarkable coincidence, or was this just a cover story?

2. Remember the failed coup against Chavez?
There were reports the US had a plane ready to fly Chavez into exile.

3. Sure. How did you ever think to go look there.
Kudos to you!

Iirc, there was reportedly a plane but some genius decided to have him shot instead and the firing squad didn't fire.

4. Our Honduran friend in LBN
I asked if her husband was ever to Fort Benning, Georgia, or if he ever had anything to do with SOUTHCOM (which was based in Panama before it was moved to Florida).

5. Isn't that crafty? For the people on the ground, seeing these cheezeballs whizzing around

in their supercharged planes would only create the impression the US military was fully behind this coup, and things were clearly out of their hands, and likely to get them hurt if they dared to show any real resistance.

It would look like war when groups of those jets would go flashing across the sky, wouldn't it?

And, since the coup plotters cut the phone lines, screwed their cell phones, cut the electricity, and then told them they were to stay out of the streets, they attempted to completely block anyone's hope of overturning their dirty coup. They moved AGAINST THE PEOPLE THEMSELVES by doing this.

That sounds like a true major crime. Damned dirty and serious.

6. I don't believe in coincidences
particularly now that NY Times reported that Obama Administration was aware of the coup.

7. No coincidences. Just the appearance of them.
A couple of low n loud flyovers by USAF jets ought to stir the pot a little.
