Correa calls for LatAm integration

Bolivia: President of Ecuador Rafael Correa called on Latin American peoples to advance in their integration to construct a more sovereign, equitable, honourable and fair region.

“Together we will be invincible and we will be able to confront external domination,” said Correa, who accompanied his Bolivian peer Evo Morales to the inauguration of a school in Sacaba town, in Cochabamba department.

Correa, who arrived on Thursday in this city to attend the 7th Summit of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our Americas (ALBA), extolled Bolivian government initiatives in the implementation of advanced projects in public education.

“Now resources in Bolivia are managed by clean hands and transparent hearts that work for the people and not for oligarchies or foreign people,” he said referring to Morales, whom he described as a friend and a brother.

He called on the Bolivian people to take advantage of the change their country is undergoing and prepare to transform Latin America later.
