Western movie on CholusatSur

Tuned in couple of hours ago and it is all "Bonanza" with Hoss, Little Joe and forget-his-name. Had never seen this before and when it was censored, it just went off the air and online.

I can't get any sound, just the images.

So, what is going on?

Globo is online, with sound. Talking about a possible massacre on Nov. 29. Those rumors just won't go away.

1. So instead of taking them off the air they are programming their channel for them? Unbelievable!
I guess it's a real bonanza for lip readers who speak English!

This is the first time I've heard of this.

Remember during the coup in Caracas the private stations all ran back to back reruns and blocked out all the news themselves.

I'm sure your suspicions are well grounded, rabs. This is ugly. The timing would line up, too, with even more extreme measures.

Thank you for sharing what they're saying on Globo.

2. Related to what you've heard from Honduras: Honduras regime seeks to disarm citizens ahead of polls
Honduras regime seeks to disarm citizens ahead of polls

November 21, 2009, 7:17 am

TEGUCIGALPA (AFP) - The Honduran de facto regime on Friday ordered citizens to turn in their weapons in a bid to avert violence around disputed presidential elections to be held at the end of the month.

Ousted President Manuel Zelaya has called on his supporters to boycott the November 29 national elections after crisis talks failed to restore him to power beforehand -- in order to finish his single term that ends in January.

The interim regime led by Roberto Micheletti said it would disarm citizens who risked disrupting the elections in a nation where violent street gangs operate with many weapons left over from decades of civil wars in the region.

"We've agreed a general disarmament from November 23 so that no one will harm the lives of others or provoke other actions against the electoral process," Press Minister Pineda Ponce told local television.

3. Given how these slime think, forcing the people to disarm
is not a good indication. :(

Maybe we should try to get a phone campaign going on Monday. A lot of our government shuts down today but SOMEONE has to still be there. What do you think? I could probably raise the L.A. Greens, maybe Code Pink and maybe World Can't Wait. Maybe David Swanson would help and maybe we could also get Verified Voting on line.

I feel worried. If these psychopaths are disarming the people, that would usually mean they themselves are planning violence.

Thoughts?

4. It DOES sound like they plan to attack the people and want to lower risks to their own forces.
It looks so much like what rabs has heard already in the last week or so.

The names of groups you've mentioned sound very helpful. It would help to think about this for a while to locate ideas on who else would want to know.

There's no doubt magabana would want to know this and what rabs has already told us. She has excellent contacts.

It's really too bad our own government will NOT be helping the people against the Republican supported murderers.

Thanks for the idea for bringing attention to maybe a way of spreading the news about what looks like some very bad weather ahead for Hondurans.

5. I posted the question to magbana's blog in case she's not checking our forum.
Most of us have some kind of network. At very least, we could make enough noise for people to be watchful in the run up. But we don't have much time, Judi, because as you know next week many universities and gov offices are down. We have today, maybe tomorrow, maybe until Monday morning, imho.

If we were to mount a call up, it should be as soon as possible without going off half cocked. Let's see how we do.

8. With them all dressed up in body armor a cup full of fire ants
would be the best weapon.
