Tears in Red (Warning, Graphic Photos)

This is a sample of the photo series by Fernando Sánchez which made him win the Arturo Uslar Pietri Prize to the Best Photo Coverage. "By this work, I meant to show insecurity and violence undergone day after day by we, Venezuelans, in the absence of a government plan to fight and prevent rising crime throughout the nation," the winner explained
