1. Looks legit --the usual poll questions are in-line with other polls
Edited on Thu Jan-14-10 10:42 AM by Kurt_and_Hunter
I don't know the pollster well but there's nothing particularly eye-brow raising. Some of the questions, like re-elect, are rare but where the poll asks questions we can compare to a range of polling it doesn't seem out of line. (Like 47% approval, rouhly even on healthcare, etc.)

Clinton was in rotten re-elect shape early but bounced back.

2. 21% of people polled were from the Deep South.
More than any other region.

3. Why wouldn't that surprise me?
National Journal cooking a poll by overpolling the Deep South? Who would have thunk it.

These shitheads are unbelievable.

9. Ridiculous poll.
The Deep South is the most anti-Obama region in America and less populated than even the Midatlantic.

No duh the numbers are skewed against him.

5. Majority would vote against Obama if 2012 election was held today? What was the reason for this
poll?

8. Read the poll...it's bunk.
Edited on Thu Jan-14-10 06:10 PM by Drunken Irishman
But please, PLEASE read the poll.

Look at the break down of regions.

The Deep South, which is NOT the most populous region in America makes up 21% of this poll. Do you know what states make up the Deep South? Alabama, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and South Carolina.

Outside of Georgia, none are populous states. None went to Pres. Obama in 2008.

Give me a fucking break. This poll is shit. It's shit because it over polls the most conservative states in America, while under performing the most populous (mid-Atlantic, which includes New York).

6. Look, if Obama is in trouble it's because he is not progressive enough, not the other way around.
The American people support single payer, they want the Bush war criminals prosecuted, and they want to get out of Afghanistan now. When will Obama wake up and smell the coffee?

12. Most of my evidence is anecdotal I admit, but I believe it.
Of course, just like anyone else, my opinion is seen through the lens of my own beliefs and prejudices.
