12. I am not waiting for Tuesday, making my Almond cookies right now
Edited on Sun Jan-17-10 01:58 AM by golfguru
I use Almond flour from Trader Joe's.

2 cups Almond floor
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup white sugar
4 table spoons raisins
1 egg whole
1/4 stick butter melted
teaspoon vanilla extract

Mix it well and form cookie shapes.
Place in lightly greased pan and bake 12 minutes at 275 deg
then 2 minutes broil at 500 deg to brown the tops in electric oven

Very tasty, protein & fiber rich from almonds, potassium from raisins.
Gives me energy on golf course.

16. Just a hint...
I am a cooking by the seat of the pants cook.
If the mix is too runny just add more almond flour and sugar until
it is not runny :toast:

17. Haha - I do that too. I'm all about improvisation in the kitchen.
Tell me - do the cookies have an almond flavor? If so - I will be baking these within the next few days. Almonds are really good for lowering cholesterol - so I will have an excuse to eat these cookies :)

18. Are you kidding me?
I love almonds and these cookies are full of almond
flavor and taste! Be generous with sugar, because almonds
seem to absorb a lot of sweetness. Also you may want to
add a small pinch of salt.

Speaking of almond flavor, have you tried Ameretto De Serano?

30. Martha Coakley is virtually the sole reason Unitil got what they deserved
after the ice storm debacle. She sued them for millions in damages after they completely fucked up their recovery efforts.

That alone should send every Unitil Power customer to the polls for her--without her, they'd STILL be without power.
