20. You asked re the source data and methods and I replied. Whether one believes polls with known
biases is a personal problem but IMO biased polls are released by those from both political extremes limited only by the money to commission a poll.

Do you have links to current polls that show potential voter trust of parties on the economy that are different from those in the cited poll?

2. Exactly what I would expect from Rasmussen. Democrats are
usually on the losing end in their polls.

anybody who trusts the Repukes on the economy or Social Security is simply fucking INSANE.

4. Well, that doesn't look good
But I don't understand how we can have poll results like this, and another poll saying that Democrats are favored over Republicans on a generic ballot.

6. People think that because Rasmussen called the election right
that they must be right about everything.

In fact, they're a good 5-10 points off of other polling outfits--the only outlier, it would seem.

7. Who did they interview? Teabaggers? I call BS.
Completely contradicts other national polling on these issues done in recent years.

9. Did you post "tool" Rasmussen's numbers here so we can mock them?
He has zero credibility. That's not even debateable.

10. I was impressed that the economy was #1 and that the polls supposedly show Dems 35% v. GOP 49%.
It remains to be seen why any poll would show respondents rate GOP above Dems.

11. The economy is #1 issue but I don't have to question why Rasmussen shows Repugs ahead.
If you really are not aware of his overt Repug-bias, there's not much I can say.

12. My guess is that Rasmussen assumes that the
people who will turn out to vote will be very angry and that they will be anti-incumbent. We will have to get our people energized enough that they will go to the polls. There were definitely extenuating circumstances for the Dems in the New Jersey and Virginia gubernatorial races, but we MUST get our people fired up!!

13. If those numbers are right, voters are either stupid or have ADD
It's always the same crap. They patiently give the GOP years to screw things up, then cry to the Dems for help that had better arrive within a month or the GOP gets a chance to 'fix' things again.

at least 6% lower than every other poll.

and Fox News watchers. Nate Silver has exposed this fool on more than one occasion.

23. Rasmussen has been the gold standard of polling over the past several election cycles.
The results speak for themselves.

People can ignore the polls at their own peril.

26. But their issue polling has always sucked
Rasmussen had Republicans trusted more on the economy in October 2008, IIRC. Ridiculous.
