They would meet in the WH tomorrow with Pelosi and Demo leaders and announce they will vote on the senate HC bill and get it to Obama's desk before the State of the Union speech.. sign it and place the health care issue off the table and concentrate on lowering unemployment..

4. If the Democrats were honest (so this also will not happen)
they'd pass a real HCR bill through reconciliation.

Pass the Public Option through reconciliation. That's all you need. Then, any further regulations on private insurance become methods of holding down costs. It's all budget-related then.

5. Not going to happen
Repugs and the media will now frame any rush to sign the bill as anti-democratic. It is a no win situation for Dems at this point.

12. Yes, yes, yes!
This is what they ought to do.

Settle health care reform -- how long have we been arguing about this? -- and pivot immediately back to jobs.
