DU Dems and Obama: Maybe a marriage therapy tactic would help...

Hello. I'm Dr. Phil Writer. As a means to help the strained relationship between DU liberals and Obama, I'd like to try this marriage therapy method: Everyone, take a moment and write down positives (what they like) and "deltas" (things they'd like to change) about Obama.

I hope we come together, because with together means to gather. (Is that a bad enough Dr. Phil pun?)

1. Positive: He's not afraid to say he was wrong about something. Negative: He needs to dumb down ....

.... the rhetoric. I think they're presuming the electorate is more intelligent than we actually are. That's why "Obama's gonna kill grandma" worked and "stimulus project" didn't. (from a policy standpoint)

No Public Option in HCR
Media Relations -- just call out the bullshit

4. Well, Writer, marriage is not something I am allowed

so this notion is rather ironic to me. According to Obama, my relationship, which has years on his, is unworthy of marriage rights, because of his religion.
So this just makes me laugh. Marriage, Obama, yeah, right. Some people are really tone deaf. His opposition to marriage equality and his reasons for it are huge problems, so how lovely to frame this as 'marriage'. Really thoughtful and writer like. The caring for words and all. Marriage. Obama. Yep. Ironic.
