...I'd develop a pounding headache, cry, get blackout drunk on Oval Office bourbon, then resign with a hangover the next day. Crises were mounting even before Bush took office, and now, in 2010, this country's problems seem nigh insurmountable.

It's a damn lucky thing for all of us I'm not President Obama.

$100 Billion out of the $708 budgeted for the fiscal year.

Pay it directly to the deficit.

In ten years the budget would be balanced.

They talk about the entitlement hole but never mention that we outspend the entire rest of the world on the MIC.

What possible justification is there for this level of military spending?

I'd also call for a special task force, armed with thousands of investigators to look into crimes committed by the big banks- both to put a fire under their brazen, 7 figure bonus butts, and also to make sure that at least a few thousand offenders found out that the consequences of financial fraud can be greater than their potential rewards.
