Gallup: Big Business edges Federal Government in popularity
Edited on Thu Feb-04-10 06:15 PM by Kurt_and_Hunter
My response to these findings...

Half this country deserves what they get.
Unfortunately 100% gets what they get.

1. Well considering Big Business has tons of whiny,snot-nosed PR people
and the federal government has none, this is pretty good.

3. I Don't Read This Poll In The Same Way Apparently
Edited on Thu Feb-04-10 06:39 PM by SunsetDreams
Wow look at Small Business, 95% of "those polled" said they viewed it positively vs 49% of "those polled" viewed Big Business positively. WOW WOW Small Business walloped big business in the polls.

As far as the Big Business numbers being 3% more positive than the federal government. First of all this poll is rating each of those separately, not against each other. Who's to say that a poll worded differently that compared Gov't vs Big Business as the title of your OP states, that the results wouldn't have been different?

As far as the 46% positive, and 51% negative number on the federal government, all I can say is for years now, the public has been very skeptical of what the government does, ei George W. No wonder that number is like that.

But again, this is just a sampling of "those polled" and doesn't reflect a true viewing of how the entire country feels, about any of those subjects.

5. I'm also surprised
It shows that socialism is not as fringe as right-wingers want us to think.
