Should the likes of Glenn Beck be held responsible for political violence?

Just personally, hey: If Obama dies by the hand of a fucking Beckerhead, I've got my pitchfork and torch, ready to go!

1. They should be held responsible if it's their fear mongering that triggers

an incident, but they won't be. RW assholes have been stirring up shit for years and causing innocent deaths in some cases but no one has been held responsible like Rush Limbaugh or Bill O'Reilly out of whose mouths the inciting began.

Should I have not posted this? I'm not trying to be inflammatory, but it just seems to me that people like Glenny Boy are stepping right up to the line---but never legally crossing it---of incitement to violence.

4. No. He has, within the law, the right to state his opinions.

I am fairly certain he knows exactly where the line lays, and is careful not to cross it.

Others of his ilk, however, in calling for direct acts of violence against elected officials or insurrection against the government, have stepped over that line, and should be dealt with accordingly.

was telling a story about the Titanic the other day and made a comment about, "Shooting the captain."

He calls President Obama a socialist constantly and talks about him destroying the constitution and the United States.

IMO his "criticism" is extremely dangerous and irresponsible. Like Rush, all he cares about is ratings.
