BIG ED: "You bet Dick Cheney's heart is a political football...
We ought to rip it out, kick it around and stuff it back in him...

It's called a pre-existing condition."

Wow - that's how he opened his radio show today!

1. We all know if he wasn't rich and who he is then he would
be dead like all of us with the same problem. Health Care company would have found a reason to kick him out years ago. Over the lifetime limit or something.

5. Get 'em Big Eddie! Yep, Ed said that if the DICK was an everyday...
working Joe, his insurance company would've dropped his sickly a** after the second heart attack (I'm paraphrasing, of course).

SPEAK THE TRUTH, EDDIE!

8. I was wondering the same thing (not quite as graphically). How is it that he wasn't
Denied coverage? I think it'd be pretty far fetched to think he was and has had to pay in full for care he's received.

Didn't he have a few of these heart attacks before age 65? He had the first in his late 30's, I believe... My mother has had "at least 5 (her cardiologist stopped counting), but she had good coverage through her job (and far from wealthy - given her 40+ years teaching 1st grade), and I think she was 65 when she had the first one.

I'm guessing Medicare doesn't deny coverage for multiple heart attacks.

I can hear the counter argument already: "Anyone who wants equivalent health care should just become VPOTUS - goes with the job," or some similarly, mind-numbingly idiotic return. Blecch...

9. He's wealthy enough to pay hisown way...
but the taxpayers and the people in his "pool" are paying for his care.

It's the Republican way... "I want it all! I just don't think I should have to pay for it!".
