Certainly, it's a little early to speculate on 2016, but it's hardly offensive to do so.

9. Posting pattern is considered
And considering how many Kucinich threads you've had locked tonight already, I suspect this will be too.

Is the best you can do is have a poll stating that Kucinich is better than Palin?

..but I'm not going to argue over that, nor the ridiculous amount of DK bashing threads today.

That is not the purpose of this thread. I'm merely asking a question about a future election. :)

15. To what end?
Does this poll reveal anything you do not already know?

Does this poll seek to provide information?

The reason you posted this poll is to snidely and passive-aggressively do what your candidate does and thumb your nose and say "My way or I go home with the ball!"

Mr. Doyle,

I truly and humbly appreciate your support for Mr. Kucinich, but let people have their honest opinion.

I really, really do not like the guy. I am a Democrat. I support Democratic principles, but I very honestly do not believe that Kucinich represents my own personal interests. I am not saying that he does not represent yours nor am I saying that my ideals are better or worse than yours.

Please, please stop making this into a rehashing of a constant battle.

No one will win, and we'll all end up looking like fools.

Stop it. Please.

5. I like Kucinich
despite his ideals occasionally getting in the way - I do admire him for standing up for what's right. I generally agree with him, at least in principle.

However, the poll is rather silly, in that neither will get their party's nomination.

28. Ah.. who knows.
Perhaps by 2016, The Crazy Lady will have actually read the bible, found Jesus, and have thus become an avowed communist. And perhaps Kucinich will have realized that he has a beautiful wife and a pension, but no guaranty of trips to the Bahamas every 3rd weekend, nor a 15 million dollar mansion, and begin to miss and wish for these things, thus converting to a free market capitalist pig dog. And in the process receiving corporate sponsorship for a really good pair of lifts, Bonherian orange skin, and some sort of charisma pheromone implant.

Its 2010 baby, and the future is hectic from here on in. Who really knows what it holds?

37. Howard Dean was not my candidate for Prez in 2004
Edited on Tue Mar-09-10 11:17 PM by mr715
But was the best DNC chair we've seen in a long time.

Dean is way more rational and effective than Kucinich. He is brilliant, and a leader. And I respect him a great deal.

Bernie Sanders is a statesman, not a politician and I love him.

38. Uh, you mean DNC chair, right?
The DLC targets Howard Dean as much as they do Kucinich, to this day. And they sabotaged his campaign in 2004.

He would not have taken the shit from the Repukes that Kerry did, and he would have massacred the Chimp in November.

This country would be FAR better off today, had President Dean been sworn in on January 20,2005. Instead of a second consecutive term of a fucking piece of shit who was never elected at all. Either time.

And Bernie fucking rocks. I wish he were a couple decades younger, because I hate to think of the Senate without him.

Good to see we finally agree on something. :)

39. Mr. Doyle,
I'm sure we agree on a lot.

I did mean DNC.

And of course the country would be better. I just would have liked Sen. Kerry to have been President Kerry. I've worshipped him since the early 90s.

Mr. Doyle, I am not hard left and I honestly disagree with your man. It does not make me a conservative, a DINO, or an idiot (not that you have asserted that).

I believe firmly that issues are more complex than black and white.

Perhaps you and I will agree on this (or perhaps not).

The passing of any health care legislation will change the narrative and make vast, sweeping progressive health care seem more possible.

Democrats should not shoot their own, even if they disagree.

But if by wild silly chance both were nominated then I would prefer Kucinich, by a long way.

That however is equivalent to being asked to choose between Chomsky and Glenn Beck. Easy call - but pointless question.

I don't think he will be running for President. His age has nothing to do with it. He will never win the primary.

If he does, he is probably the only Democrat Palin could beat.

However, if Kooch somehow managed to get the nomination on earth, of course I would vote for him over that other unlikely earth nominee Sarah Palin. That, of course, assumes that Kooch is still a member of the Democratic Party and hasn't left to form his own party with his good friend, Ron Paul.
