40. It does make sense
Voting against an amendment for a public option is voting against a public option

Voting against a 1000 page bill that might contain some watered down form is voting against a bill.

It doesn't mean he is against everything in the bill. I imagine he likes funding community health clinics (just a guess).

Dont play stupid.

Kucinich: Why I Voted NO

“By incurring only a new requirement to cover pre-existing conditions, a weakened public option, and a few other important but limited concessions, the health insurance companies are getting quite a deal. The Center for American Progress’ blog, Think Progress, states “since the President signaled that he is backing away from the public option, health insurance stocks have been on the rise.” Similarly, healthcare stocks rallied when Senator Max Baucus introduced a bill without a public option. Bloomberg reports that Curtis Lane, a prominent health industry investor, predicted a few weeks ago that “money will start flowing ...

69. Will Kucinich finally fight for a PO?
Will he finally stand up to the insurance companies?

72. Other than complain that it's not there - what has he done to fight for a PO?
Serious question here...I really don't follow Kucinich and don't know what he has done.

83. He's big on a strong PO, and single payer.
My comment was more of a poke at those who claim Obama hasn't fought enough.

75. "Please, keep it up!" OK:
Kucinich voted against not only the public option, but also the climate change bill, physician payment reform, the pay as you go act, Obama's Budget, consumer protection act and even the reprimand of Joe "You lie" Wilson.

All no votes with Republicans.

82. What an Orwellian response to a distorted slanderous lie of a topic
Kucinich must be incredibly powerful and threatening to the power structure for such a campaign to be waged against him. Clearly a voice not to be ignored

Now back to your:

92. Another distortion of the facts.
Presumably deliberate.

Kucinich supported the strong PO. opposed the toothless, watered-down one.

He has been open and consistent on this point.

A less honest broker I have never encountered. And I think broker is the right word to use, professionally speaking.
