Another Kucinich thread.
We didn't have enough, yet, so I figured I should start one.

1. Good idea. Also, DU should consider new angles of discussion on Kucinich.
For example, Why doesn't Dennis Kucinich attend NASCAR events?

And a poll could be offered to determine how many of us would buy a Dennis Kucinich CD on which he sings "Sixteen Tons" and other labor classics.

6. Also, circumstances demand that we respond with boldness and
vision.

I propose that Dennis Kucinich find a way to make some good green money. Maybe throw together a kick-ass recipe book. Open a chain of tattoo parlors. Debut a new theme park. Anything that would effectively fill his coffers so he could compete as a national voice.

No matter one's personal view of Kucinich the man, he proposes that the United States make surgical socio-political changes to reflect a more liberal society. I am not convinced that he is collaborative enough to achieve that modification in the way that say, Ted Kennedy, also plenty liberal, achieved in the Senate. DK's landscape is very agreeable to most liberals but they remain justifiably unconvinced that he can deliver the meal once it's been ordered.

If money buys influence in politics, and it certainly does, Kucinich could whip up some sort of grassroots scheme to fund his vision of our society and government. If even then Democratic primary voters reject his candidacy in favor of other Democrats, then the problem is with Dennis Kucinich.
