Why does she propose giving special treatment to terrorists?
Why does she want to raise their status from that of a criminal to that of a Soldier?
Why does she want to give succour to terrorists by giving them a political status that they do not deserve?
The IRA wanted political status and said this
WE, the Republican Prisoners of War in the H-Blocks, Long Kesh, demand, as of right, political recognition and that we be accorded the status of political prisoners. We claim this right as captured combatants in the continuing struggle for national liberation and self-determination.

To which the then Prime Minister, Margaret Thatcher, - hardly some American hating Terrorist lover, said
There is no such thing as political murder, political bombing or political violence. There is only criminal murder, criminal bombing and criminal violence. We will not compromise on this. There will be no political status.
Does Cheney not see the connection? Terrorist do not want to be treated as common criminals. They want the recognition of a political status that would be afforded to them by giving them a military trial.
Liz Cheney is encouraging terrorists. Liz Cheney and her disgusting cohorts on the right are undermining the traditions of justice built up over hundreds of years. Cheney, the likes of Marc Thiessen and the GOP should be called out for what they are. Terrorist loving extremists.
