By Kristin Jensen and James Rowley

March 10 (Bloomberg) -- President Barack Obama is facing a renewed push against his health-care legislation as a coalition of business groups plans to spend as much as $1 million a day on advertisements to pressure lawmakers into opposing the bill.

The campaign will last about 10 days and cost between $4 million and $10 million, said Bruce Josten, the top lobbyist at the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, which is helping lead the effort. The ads will start on national cable television and run in 17 states, Josten told reporters on a conference call.

Business groups say the Democratic legislation will hurt companies by adding new taxes and requirements, while failing to control medical costs. Josten said the ads are targeting House Democrats who voted “no” on the original legislation or voted “yes with reluctance.”

Skumsucking dirtbags at the C of C are at it again. They are ensuring that only large businesses are welcome at their little club as small businesses are being screwed daily by the current system. Just ask my company President her reaction when she found out that my family plan would cost $36,000/year - 60% of which she picks up.

I despise the C of C  I really think there should be a campaign started to destroy this right-wing group - but that's just my personal opinion.

3. Hmm..only $4-10 million? That's odd! Based on records they go 10x-100x More if Important

Me thinks they might actually be enjoying the bill more than we think and this might be nothing mroe than just a trick and actually want it to pass.

I am starting to see a growing pattern...So far every insurer and Pharma have not put up much fight in terms of advertising dollars...seeing as how they could lose dramatically their profits in the 100s of Billions why are they only putting up a $1 million budget for ads (as was mentioned by the insuerers yesterday in the news).
