I bet they were back in their plush offices trying to explain to their bosses(the insurance companies and the drugs thugs )why they lost,but they should keep the money flowing because there will be other battles to be fought against the interest of the american people.

as a competition to keep them in check. the pharma got a back door deal with the white house early on (or they would really be screaming) and the ins co's got a mandated clientel of young healthy people... along with no way to keep their prices from increasing. I don't think anyone's ins. premiums are suddenly going to decrease..

Have been for months now.

And from having reform in pharma costs.. There was a bill to let Canadian drugs be imported for the cost reductions (its gone). Competition for fair was what they were after (that's why all the b.s. about needing 60 votes and all-- remember, couldn't have the public option because they needed 60 votes and they weren't there-- reconciliation was the "remedy" for getting the Public Option-- because of Brown, they have to use it any way.. so where's the public option?)

Its all a game.. keep everyone looking over here, while they play over there. Most of politics is about distraction and division. Its a game to most of them. Some do think of the consequences, but many of these people are wealthy already. They don't understand what their games do to actual people. They could never, I repeat, never, live on their definition of poverty. They couldn't live on the amt of food stamps they deem is "enough". They could never live on minimum wage. AND most definately, most of them have never had to deal with ins. co's b.s. They have the best and have the money and the name recognition.

I just want to give him a hug. He waited a long, long time to see this happen.
