9. I'm wondering who gave Nancy HER spine transplant
She's been wonderful throughout this entire thing, which was pleasantly surprising yet out of character for her.

15. She's always been a brilliant vote getter
that has never been a issue. Sometimes a bit weak on messaging, but worlds better than most Dems, even at her worst.

5. Baucus seems to be having a hard time keeping a straight face.
I think he's laughing at the pugs delaying tactics, because they won't work.

10. This is just great, I think Harry has been given
a huge shot of adrenaline based on the actions that have taken place in the last few days. It feels good to be a winner.

12. Actually, Reid getting 60 votes (on Christmas Eve) was as
critical as the House passing that bill on Sunday. The reconciliation bill is actually easier as time is limited and there appear to be enough Democrats willing to vote "NO" to all Republican amendments and then to get the 50 votes needed.

This takes NOTHING away from Pelosi, who did an awesome job. President Obama and HHS head Seblious were also critical to getting the needed momentum to pull the numbers up enough (in spite of billions of dollars of attack ads.) Even Baucus, who was routinely trashed here was extremely on target as to what could get 60 votes. There were also many many Senators and Congressmen who fought for good provisions that ended up being included. All of them did very important things. It is also good to credit the support of unions, the AMA, AARP, and - the Catholics nuns. Then throw in everyone from both Clintons, Daschle and others who lobbied some of the voters on the fence.

Many many people contributed to this - including everyone who worked to get the huge majorities we have and President Obama elected.

13. He wants to keep his Senate seat
That's why his backbone suddenly started showing.

Maybe I'm just cynical about him, but he is doing well this month.

C'mon son! You can be this good 100% of the time too, you know?
