HAHAHA! MSNBC just reported Cantor was NOT targeted!
Edited on Fri Mar-26-10 02:42 PM by jenmito
We knew that since yesterday, but it's good to see someone in the MSM reporting on it, that it was a "stray bullet" according to the police report, not an attempted attack on Cantor because he's Jewish, trying to say the violence is "on both sides." :eyes:

1. Joe Scarborough got corrected on this point by his own producer this morning.
He tried to do the bullshit "both sides" thing and mentioned Cantor, but then Mica interrupted and said something like "I'm being told that the police say the bullet actually..." etc., etc.

5. Too bad MJ didn't mention this from 6:00 a.m. Mika kicked Joe under
the table a couple of times and he really got angry with her. I know she did it because he was going on and on with his Cantor BS and promoting the lie. They all knew it wasn't true, uncle pat also. I had to turn it off...

3. I do not agree and heres why
Since it hit the window at some unknown trajectory, it could have been shot up, or thrown by hand. If it was thrown by hand, it could have been meant as intimidation, Or it could have been a sympathy move, bya some staffer or friend. Until test have been done, to determine whether it had been fired, and how recently, there is NO WAY to tell if it was either of the three possibilities. If it was a staffer, that should result in Cantors destruction.

SO, There SHOULD be further testing of the bullet. I smell tamping down.

7. It's pretty easy to tell whether a bullet's been fired or thrown just by looking at it...
and in any case, I think it'd be pretty hard to break a window by lobbing a bullet at it.

11. Nope, it could have been shot, retrieved, than thrown.
Edited on Fri Mar-26-10 03:02 PM by Gman2
Course, my most likely scenario, given the known evidence, is staffer thrown, to elicit sympathy, and cover.

several offices, none of which are his? That's one STOOPID staffer, lol.

Bust the window, and fall.

23. Throwing bullets
Didn't happen.

Rocks, bricks, ball bearings get thrown.
Bullets will not be wasted except via a gun chamber.

21. Forest and trees alert ...
Look, the fact that it wasnt't fired directly at the building is the secondary issue ...

The PRIMARY issue to drive here is that it was NOT HIS OFFICE, it wasn't even in his district ...

No one needs CSI here, what is needed is FOCUS and keeping it as simple as possible for repetition and not allowing the Rs and MSM to squirl out from under it ...

25. According to police reports,
it hit the window at a downward trajectory, with enough velocity to break the window, but not enough to penetrate the window blinds.

29. That is an assumption, due to a broken window, and a bullett that didnt go thru the blinds.
Nothing more.

33. I thought of the throwing aspect too - seems unlikely the bullet would simply be sitting on floor
just below window. Not that we'll likely ever know, nor does it matter much IMO. There will be many more incidents to distract us in in the future.

When the MSM turns on you, it ain't gonna be pretty - Republic stock down 500 points today.

On Edit:

Cantor is a serious sleazebag from day one. I've always had a problem with the fact that he was elected from Northern VA.... they stole it. Before Cantor, there was a far larger Democratic, legal immigrant population, and they know better.
