RNC looking at Salt Lake for their convention.

They may not admit to drinking and carousing, but when both the House & Senate leaders have been forced to resign for moral/ethical reasons, you know something is amiss.

2. Anyone remember how we got the Olympics?
Even though it would be a huge economic boom for the city, I couldn't stand that much hot air here. Please. PLEASE do not pick Salt Lake, GOP.

6. Well, that would give them a pretty good shot of getting Utah's 5 electoral
votes in the general election.

Also, probably the only state that hasn't requested they NOT get the convention.

9. The Repubs have a stranglehold on this state.
They could run Charles Manson. If he had an R after his name, he would be the perfect candidate. It is an uphill struggle for we few Dems trying to fight these zombies.

My 8 year old grandson was the only one in his class who voted for Obama. Of course he was roundly made fun of. Water off a ducks back. He took the upper hand, and all was and is well. He is a very smart young man and does not allow these little terrorists to influence his opinion.

The Mormon influence in this state is ingrained into the children from an early age. My son was told when he was very young he was going to hell because he was not Mormon. He was treated horribly by these little darlings. But on the bright side, he grew up on a military installation, so there was a diverse population. He could choose who he associated with. Pity the poor child in a small Utah town, as they don't stand a chance.

10. Yes, I know. I was being a little sarcastic/sardonic.
Good for your son for standing up for himself. I'm sure he will grow into a fine young man who makes the world into a better place.

11. Gosh...the GOP will have to truck in all the ...
booze and bimbos that will be needed. I do hope that they use union drivers.

You think those Mormons abstain? Please.

14. Speaking of Conventions, Love to see us pick Cleveland or Colombus
Particularly Cleveland. Could have the first few nights at the "Q" Arena and then walk 150 yards to give the speech at Progressive Field.
