What President Obama needs to do is talk about the activist conservative judges

It's time to reframe the issue and destroy the right wing's number one false talking point. All he has to do is point to the new law the conservatives created declaring corporations people.

1. That Would Be One to Start With
I've been waiting for the Dems to start reframing for a very long time.

2. 2 things the Dems are week at- media manipulation and framing
although the fact that the right has it's own 24/7 proganda machine with FAUX news certainly makes both of these things more difficult.

10. Separate those two concepts and the message will be clearer

It will be a good thing if Obama and Democratic Politicians can attack that activist judges BS.

Honest framing should not be lumped in with the somewhat negative term media manipulation, but I feel you are correct that Republicans have both of these techniques down pat. Honest framing seeks the proper words to evoke a clarity of message from a truthful position, and media manipulation is what Karl does when he goes over talking points on Hannity's show before an appearance.

The important thing is we learn from our mistakes :+

8. I think that I've detected a pattern by now.
I'd love to be surprised in "a good way" but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Here's to hoping that you are correct. :toast:

4. Al Franken did a great speech about that on the senate floor
during the Sotomayor hearings.

5. Yeah, too bad about those six anti-war activists being arrested in his office.
I guess he's selectively outraged? :(

9. I thought saw them handcuffed and taken into the Police Station?
I don't have the video readily at hand, the Police at the scene were very professional and gentle on these mostly middle age to elderly folks. So it was not "a scene."

I only wish Frankin would change his perspectives on these IMO, unjust occupations.
