New Poll: Obama 55/40 approval in California (also results from Oregon & Washington)

President Obama's approval ratings are ticking upwards in California and Washington state while showing a slight tick downward in Oregon.

In California, Obama approval is at 55% while disapproval is at 40% (last month approval was 52%)
In Oregon, Obama's job is approved by 47% and disapproved by 48% (last month approval was 48%)
In Washington State, Obama has a 51-45 approval rating, compared to 46% approval last month.

Well, then 55% isn't real good in comparison--still, it's not the greatest reflector of who would vote for him if Election Day was today.

4. Yes it is. 6 percent drop after more than year is excellent.

Approval ratings for a President are highest on election day and immediately after, participarly in a state he won. Considering the massive recession in the country and, specifically, in devastated California, those numbers are outstanding!
