There are people who will oppose anything the President presents..
They are mired in opposition mode.

I do not know what the source of it is.. but nothing, nothing, nothing, this President will propose or try to accomplish will be met with support. Even when it is beneficial, they are still in opposition.

From HCR, to Economic Reforms, to saving the economy, American companies that employ American workers, to Wall Street reforms.

There is no ground that they can find agreement with. So trying to listen to, reason with, those who are stuck in permanent opposition to anything proposed by Democrats becomes an act of insanity.

Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

3. Bingo.
Zealots of any stripe are poor discussion partners.

The tragedy is when supporters or detractors of a particular position are unfairly labeled as those zealots.

8. Worse when one tries to create distinctions
People can get labeled as "zealots" even when they attempt to form distinctions between themselves and the zealots. It's even stranger when one zealot tries to label the other guy the zealot.

5. I've always disliked that quote about the definition of insanity.
Sure, that is an example of insanity I suppose, but so is thinking that the mailman is spying on you, or hearing voices telling you to kill people, or thinking you're Napoleon.

It's like saying that the definition of dessert is chocolate cake.

But I digest...
