5. Good point..that would be
what a fireman looked like literally when putting out all those gigantic fires but in his job.. President Obama is able to do the work And keep fit.

Like the attention to detail of his fireman's cap, though.

12. They'd need about 6 gas cans with that label.
Reagan and the Bewshes' predecessors were not only smarter, but more fiscally responsible than them. "Hey, let's blow the National Credit Card on the military and the wealthy! YEAH! Grab the whiskey, I'll take the wheel!"

Stupid shits.

31. except until very recently, Obama was asking them for water, getting gas, & pretending it was water
GOP ideas are the problem and Obama's reforms are too often applying slightly less of them instead of chucking them altogether.

32. If only their number was negligible...
The Republican Party of 1956. Taken from their party platform.

We believe that basic to governmental integrity are unimpeachable ethical standards and irreproachable personal conduct by all people in government. We shall continue our insistence on honesty as an indispensable requirement of public service. We shall continue to root out corruption whenever and wherever it appears.

We are proud of and shall continue our far-reaching and sound advances in matters of basic human needs—expansion of social security—broadened coverage in unemployment insurance —improved housing—and better health protection for all our people. We are determined that our government remain warmly responsive to the urgent social and economic problems of our people.

We shall continue vigorously to support the United Nations.

Dwight Eisenhower summed it up perfectly.

Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group, of course, that believes you can do these things. Among them are H. L. Hunt (you possibly know his background), a few other Texas oil millionaires, and an occasional politician or business man from other areas. Their number is negligible and they are stupid.

-- Letter to Edgar Newton Eisenhower, his brother (1954-11-08)
