The insanity of celebrity politics - Time magazine lists Scott Brown as one of top 100 world leaders
First of all, this is WORLD leaders. How many should even be American? The top leader, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, president of Brazil. President Obama is 4th, which is mind boggling. Brown might be the 25th most important leader in the Senate, but even that is questionable. So, far, he has yet to really be the critical vote on anything and he has led on nothing.

The article speaks of another list - the most influential. Here, they place Obama at number 21. Oddly Mir-Hossein Mousavi, the opposition leader in Iran is number one - Lady Gaga is number 5!

This is insane.

Mr. Pink Leather Shorts?

Really? Time Magazine really sucks.

I'll bet most of the rest of the world doesn't even know who the guy is.

3. The corporate masters are at work trying to bolster him for '12 because he is vulnerable
in MA against a Democrat who will actually campaign hard and a ticket led by President Obama. He has so far done nothing in the Senate to prove he is an "independent thinker."

16. RIGHT!!! He actually has done NOTHING but
the traditional Republican obstruction, and added more TV appearances per week where he opens his mouth once again.

He wants to be a media star more than a Senator, I believe.

6. The media is a sad state of it's former self.
I would take Lady Gaga more seriously then Scott Brown. At least she contributed something, even if it is over-produced pop music.

14. Other than winning an "upset" election what has he done???
Independents are already going back to Dems.

At the time of his election, it seemed it would be more
impactful than it has turned out to be.

The only thing I can figure, the Corporate Media is trying
to push a candidate for President on the Republican Party.
The Media did all they could to push McDonald in Va. telling
how Moderate and great he would be for Va. wow, get that
egg off their face. Likewise, Christy in NJ. Somebody
ask the Media what makes a Moderate? These two are as
Conservative as they come. Culturally and Fiscally.

18. Too funny
I saw the Time guy on Morning Joe this morning, and I just laughed and laughed. First of all, I'd give you Scott Brown had his election had ANY influence on stopping the Dems and health care. But frankly, I feel like thanking Scott Brown on behalf of the Dems. If Coakley had won, I think the Senate and the House would still be dicking around with that legislation, but instead, due to losing that mythical 60th vote, the Dems had to find another way. So F-U, Time.

Meanwhile, the guy also was going on about Sarah Palin and how influential and REAL she is. He then quoted to back that up - you ready? - Ted Nugent. Why don't they just throw in Jon "My brain has been eaten by death panels" Voight while they're at it.

20. It's more than a little stupid and that's why I haven't
subscribed to time for many years..even if they gave it away.

scott brown showed more posing for Cosmo than he ever has as a senator from Mass. A lot of lying and disingenuous bullshit. Remember tying Rachel to his fundraising? dull tool.
