ANY one - and I mean ANY PERSON ON THE PLANET who believe that Barack Obama doesn't care about children and their education has some SERIOUS issues...

Clio, you're the fashion guru, there's something weird about the fit of Michelle's gown on the bare shoulder side. The skin under her arm poofs over the dress in the front and back. Is the cut maybe too high on the side? Notice how Eva Longoria and Gayle King don't get that effect with their gowns. Of all the gowns in these pics, Eva's is my favorite. The cut is great and the color suits her olive skin tone. Orszag's girlfriend is very beautiful (he's not!!).

.... yes, I guess you could say it's cut too high. But from a purely technical perspective, what's causing that is that bodice would work better on someone who's bustier than Michelle is. This happens somewhat often on the brides and bridesmaids I work with. They complain about that and I can understand if it bothers them, but lol, it ONLY happens on the skinny girls as Michelle is blessed to be.

The bodices on Eva and Gayle's dresses don't have the structure that Michelle's has, they're softer. That's why you're not seeing that.

I think, sometimes, you can have TOO much advice because I still stand by my statement that she NEVER looked better than in this photo, back before he was elected, when she (probably) dressed herself.



This was my favorite gown she's worn as First Lady (from the 2009 Governors Ball.) The President doesn't seem to mind it either, lol.

I love the hairdo in the pic with the pink gown. I agree about the blue gown, it is not suited for a woman without much of a chest. In profile it made her look as if she had no breasts.
