6. A lot of people in CT will see the Quinnipiac #'s tomorrow and will
think more highly of them. Quinnipiac University, where the polling originates out of, is in Hamden, CT. It is actually the next town over from the town I grew up in (Cheshire). At lot of CTers trust Quinnipiac.

17. Joe isn't scripted, that's for sure, but that's also one of the endearing
things about him. One of many, IMO.

If I'm 10 and he was my uncle, I'd want to sit next to him at the Thanksgiving table because he seems like he has a hell of a lot more to offer and a human being than a lot of folks. Same goes if I'm 20 or 50 or 110.

I'll take his vice presidency with the now-and-then verbal slip-ups over the lizard-souled Dick Cheney's vice presidency any ol' day.

10. I think people didn't like what they saw of McMahon when
she tried to under cut Blumenthal for mis-stating a word. She cut the two parts out where he said Viet Nam era and gave the one he mis-spoke to the Times. I don't think they like a liar very much and she told a big one.

16. Linda McMahon is a dream opponent.
She could spend a hundred million on commercials (I am sure the family can spare it) and every single ad would make her look less stable. The woman wants the job only to put it on her resume, and people can see that.

Blumenthal will likely see another mischaracterization like the one he's just survived. That's the kind of person Linda McMahon is; she fights dirty. Expect more Rovian tricks.
