Teabaggin' Angle overtakes "Chicken Lady" Lowden in race for NV Senate.
Angle Leads in Race to Face Reid

A new Suffolk University poll in Nevada shows Sharron Angle (R) leading the Republican primary for U.S. Senate with 33%, followed by Danny Tarkanian (R) at 26% and Sue Lowden (R) at 25%.

Along with a recent PPP survey, this is a the second poll to show Angle is now the frontrunner heading into the primary.

The winner will face Sen. Harry Reid (D-NV) in the fall.

Update: A forthcoming DailyKos/Research 2000 poll will also show Angle taking a significant lead in the primary. It also finds Reid now beating each of his potential Republican challengers.

1. Reid is ahead?! Now that is something no one expected from any poll a few months ago.
He runs best against Angle so far...

4. I expected it
His strategy? Letting the Republican candidates reveal how pitiful they were while beating themselves
up in the primary, each thinking they had a free ride to the Senate if they won, so they expended all
their extremist rhetoric in the primary. Now they've all let their pants/skirts down and shown what
poor excuses for a Senator they'd all be. Reid was betting on the Republican primary fray to leave him
looking like the only plausible alternative to Nevada being a joke in the Senate, besides losing seniority
and the Majority Leader.

It looks to be working.

7. Yep, it's easy to be against Reid until you see the alternative.
