Ecocide is the best word created today
Anyone who contributes to wikipedia, please post this with the obvious definition and even more obvious example. It is such a beautifully descriptive word, it boggles.

Ecocide.

Ecocide.

Murder of an ecosystem = Ecocide

BP has committed Ecocide.

2. The word goes back to 1972, according to OED....
...and was used in 2008 as a book title by Franz Broswimmer.

Good word, yes. New word, no.

I don't believe in killing people but neither do I consider corporations people, no matter what our corrupt Supreme Court says. If they are too big to fail, they must be killed.
