Count how many times Tweety and Fineman say "Cap and Trade" in the Post Speech Analysis
I gave up watching after the fifth mention of the bill which is stalled in the Senate.

Recall that GE/NBC was a big supporter of candidate Obama. The number one thing on their Christmas wish list was Cap and Trade, which stands to make GE a gazillion dollars. The fact that the bill has been stalled for so long is probably pissing them off.

Therefore, when I saw GE Team Players Matthews and Fineman show up for the post Obama speech discussion, I knew that we were going to hear a lot about Cap and Trade.

The reason the president did not make his address a 15 minute tele-ad for C&T? Probably because he knows that Americans know that it C&T will not stop the leak. (Duh)

On the other hand, it will stop GE from hemorrhaging money. Wonder which is more important to the president? And to us.
