"A good day in Gallup"
Edited on Mon Jun-21-10 08:05 PM by Clio the Leo
A good day in Gallup

So maybe Adam Nagourney -- and the White House -- were right.

Obama's Gulf address was greeted by a mixture of abuse and indifference from the pundits, but his approval numbers -- which hit the floor last week -- have moved from 45% favorable and 46% unfavorable the day he gave the speech, according to Gallup, to a positive 49% to 44% today.

4. In honor of the new rules I will say "Up Yours"

I think humor is still allowed under the new rules.

No malice intended Tarheel_Dem, just want to make light of paranoia over the new rules.

2. Good news! I am really not surprised though...
the pundits have become the pendulum by which to judge how the public will receive what the President has to say or has done. If they pan it the odds are very good the public actually likes it, lol

8. Gallup
I guess the postSpeech reaction Is finally showing up in their polling. When I heard after BP pressured to pay at least 20 Billion
they had Obama's numbers go down I was begining to think their polling was suspect.

9. Again, this looks like the same 5% that fluctuates from day to day, week to week.
