Saturday Morning Letter to my friends on the DU..
As most of you probably know by know.. I live in Steve King country in Iowa.. We are getting ready to fight to good fight to try and get Matt Campbell to replace King in congress.

In Minnesota.. directly north of us Tarryl Clark is running against Bachmann
http://tarrylclark.com/

These are two very important Midwestern battles for many reasons all of us know about.. but a couple of important issues on personal freedoms can really get kicked to the curb, if the tea party people get a bigger foothold in these two blue states.

In Iowa and Minnesota both the right of a woman to have authority over her own body.. and in Iowa the right for any loving couple to marry.

We need all the love and support.. moral as well as financial that we can get here. Keep us in your thoughts and good wishes.. If you can do anything, phone calling, boots on the ground :) or just bolstering those who are.. anything and everything helps.

3. Steve King is likely the most vile member of congress.
I do not have a lot right now but I will send Matt Campbell a couple bucks. Love and hugs and peace to you from your neighboring state to the east.

5. Thank you so much ngu
Just your good thoughts are so helpful. Steve King has refused to debate his opponent the last two elections.. refused.. and gotten away with it.. I am hoping this time the pressure for him to actually debate issues is too great. What keeps getting him re-elected is just name recognition more than anything.. so MATT CAMPBELL to the max anywhere I can get it out.

4. Wishing wellness and success.
We're battling in Michigan to keep a Democrat for Governor. It's hard, thankless, and wonderful when it works.

Eternal vigilance is the price of peace.

Good luck too.
