Think of the irony of this whole situation.
faux, who has been promoting the racist teabaggers for what seems like years, never having a care about said racism, now is aghast! that Ms. Shirley Sherrod exhibited racist overtones! against white people!!

Yes, they are again twisting the truth, that we're used to. But to do so in such a sleazy way when we all know they have no ethics and could care less about racists as long as they are their own-the irony is so thick.

1. The only reason they care about race....
...is that they're terrified that when whites become the minority that those minorities now above them will treat whites like whites treated them.

2. They should be terrified considering how completely disgusting
they've treated so many people.

They're just lucky the majority of folks have a lot more class than they do and it won't happen.

4. Its the GOP Southern Strategy with a Rove twist ...
Rove's view is that you take your weakness and claim that it is your opponent's weakness.

Now we all know that racism is a GOP weakness. And so, the GOP (via the Tea Party) claims Obama is not American, he hates America, he is a racist, Michelle is a racist, Colin Powell is a racist, Holder is a racist, Sotomayer is a racist ... so on.

They don't want to be on the defensive on race, so they go on offense. And they claim that Obama and the dems are racists.

They use that framing to claim that ANY disagreement with Obama is called racist by the left ... its a lie ... but they have shifted the framing ... and now up is down and, ironically white is black. Whites are now the under class oppressed by blacks.

As you note DIVISION is the goal. The last thing the GOP wants is for poor whites and blacks to find their common enemy, the GOP. Better to have them fight each other for the scraps.

This is the GOP (aka Tea Party) strategy.
