http://techpresident.com/blog-entry/valley-vc-closing-obama-movementWell-known Silicon Valley figure Chris Sacca sits down with Internet skeptic Andrew Keen to discuss technology, politics, and the future of innovation in both realms.
If you're unfamiliar with Sacca, Keen helpfully describes him as "a former lawyer and failed entrepreneur, once Head of Special Initiatives at Google, an early investor in Twitter with his own 1.3 million person following, a 2009 TechCrunch Crunchie Award nomination for Best Angel Investor, an Obama insider and activist, a keen bicyclist and skier, and the owner of the most colorful collection of cowboy shirts in the Valley."
Sacca, in this clip, expresses disappointment with the evolution of the distributed "Obama campaign movement" into a governing entity that lacks a similar diversity of voices providing input. "The Administration," says Sacca, "didn't fully embrace all the people that got it elected."
