smooth move on the President's part. He's showing his intelligence and thoughtfulness to lots of folks who perhaps aren't so tuned in to what's happening in this country.

Hasselbeck appeared to be her usual scoldy, know-it-all self during that time. My jaw actually dropped at the tone she was using with him.

I take issue with plenty of bad stuff that's come out of his administration. But we ARE better off now than we've been for years.

Still so far to go . . . but I'm glad we finally have an adult in charge.

I have watched during the days leading up to this show where the talking heads were falling all over themselves with their "expert" opinions...."he's lowering the dignity of the presidency" and all the other silly reasons given.
In my opinion he not only kept the dignity of his office intact, he was able to connect to all those watching, with his down to earth and thoughtful answers to the questions of the women on the View. ....And they didn't just throw him softball questions. I think it's amazing that he isn't stark raving mad by now, considering all the shit he was confronted with when he took office.
Go Mr. President!!!....More power to you!!
