For Obama, basketball with an important audience

WASHINGTON (AP) -- President Barack Obama is out for some weekend basketball - this time, with an important audience.

The White House said that the president was playing hoops on Sunday before a crowd of "wounded warriors" - troops injured in action - and also participants in the White House's mentoring program.

As for participants in the game itself, Obama was being joined not just by friends but also college and professional basketball players.

The president was playing at Fort McNair in Washington, a short drive from the White House.

4. I think they never take pictures when wounded soldiers are involved
But maybe the WH official site will have something.

President Barack Obama jokes with Chicago Bulls players Joakim Noah and Derrick Rose. The President played basketball with friends, college and professional basketball players, before an audience that included wounded warriors and White House mentees at Fort McNair in Washington, D.C., August 8, 2010.

Their shirts say "POTUS..." something ... cant make it all out.

3. Funny...that you ask.
Sludge already has a link up ... to a foxnews story. Their perpetual poutrages have grown seriosly boring.
