Does Bush deserve thanks for yesterday's pullout?
Here's how I feel about it.

Let's say you hire a contractor to put an addition on your house, and not only does he completely screw up the addition,

he does major damage to the original house too.

Now he comes back and fixes everything (kind of), and hands you a bill which is 1000 times higher than the original quote.

I would not thank him.

1. No, he lied us into a war and made us less safe because of that lie.
He deserves scorn for the rest of his miserable life.

read or follow the news.

7. Imagine if we had never gone
That trillion dollars could have strengthened our economy, created jobs, built infrastructure, and Iran's power would be counterbalanced by Iraq. Maybe Iraq will eventually develop some stability, and the evil Saddam is gone, but the final result is unknown. So no, Bush gets no credit except for ramming this down our throats.

9. No.
He deserves thanks for one thing only -- putting in that t-ball court on the White House lawn.

Everything else he did, or said, was one degree of calamity or another.

10. A trillion pissed away on this nonsense.
Bush is to blame for all of this s**t and should not get any credit.
Bush had no exit strategy for his Iraq venture.

13. We should thank Charles Manson because he's so entertaining
That's how I feel about a war criminal like George Bush getting anything more than being hogtied and brought to justice.
