Senate voting on two amendments now.
Lincoln amendment limiting deductabiility for insurance companies.
Next up is the Ensign amendment.

1. Well, Lieberman I-Aetna, voted against limiting the expansing of Insurance executives.

This amendment cannot be too tough, given it was proposed by Lincoln, but he voted against it.

4. Dammit amendment failed by a few votes. Reid speaking now
About the offering of a few amendments tomorrow. Ensign's amendment better fail too. I am hoping the abortion amendment fails tomorrow.

Chambliss, Shelby voting against it. Webb voted against it also, though he has generally voted with the GOP on these amendments.

Landrieu voting NO as well.

13. How will they be able to vote on 400+ amendments before x-mas
at the rate of 2/day? That seems pretty impossible. No way will they be able to vote to end debate before year's end.

15. Things are over for the day. They will start again tomorrow
Morning at 10 am. 2 or maybe 4 amendments to be debated and its was speculated that Reid may try to get things wrapped up by filing motions to end debate so something can be done in the Senate by Christmas.
