Ras Poll: Tight battle for Governor of WI
I thought the GOP were a good bet to gain the governorship in WI, but a new Ras poll now has Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett within striking distance on both of his potential GOP challengers with the primary next month. Barrett has finally begun advertising and his ads are hard hitting but fair.

Rasmussen
8/24/10; 750 likely voters, 4% margin of error
Mode: Automated phone
(Rasmussen release)

Wisconsin

2010 Governor
48% Neumann (R), 44% Barrett (D) (chart)
47% Walker (R), 44% Barrett (D) (chart)

The consensus is that Walker is the likely GOP nominee, but I wouldn't rule out an upset by Neumann.
