Agent injured after Obama leaves Mass.
A Secret Service agent was injured when he fell off a ladder shortly after Air Force One took off following the First Family's brief stop-over this morning on Cape Cod.

According to witnesses, the man was on the roof of a white van parked on the tarmac at Coast Guard Air Station Cape Cod. He was part of a security team keeping surveillance on the area using binoculars.
After Air Force One departed at 10:10 a.m. the man started to climb down a ladder that was leaning against the van. The ladder tilted, causing the agent to fall backwards onto the ground. A handful of other security personnel made a beeline to help the agent, who was eventually seen sitting up and moving his limbs. The man, who is a Uniformed Division officer, was taken to Falmouth Hospital by ambulance where he was treated and released, according to Secret Service spokesman Ed Donovan.

Among other duties Uniformed Division officers travel in support of presidential, vice presidential, and foreign head of state government missions, according to the Secret Service's Web site.

The Marine One helicopter with the First Family onboard landed at the air station at 10 a.m. after a 10-day Martha's Vineyard vacation. President Barack Obama, his wife Michelle and daughters Malia, 12, and Sasha, 9, stepped out of the helicopter after a trip from Martha's Vineyard Airport - first dog Bo arrived in a separate helicopter.
