In this sense, a political parody site like Wonkette has become more relevant to the 2010 midterm elections than the entirety of the so-called Netroots, which in 2006 became a kind of kingmaker in the Democrats’ midterm electoral triumphs. I tuned out completely on the Netroots blogs since June and only started browsing them again recently, and its as if they’re stuck on autopilot, still debating “Obama, good or bad” and blissfully disinterested in the midterm elections, certainly compared to where they were in 2006. Why the left-leaning blogs appear to be sabotaging the elections is quite perplexing.

Wanting to influence our elected officials to do the best is now considered sabotage?

Is our position so weak that because some folks are becoming involved and pointing out what is wrong will result in our destruction?

Don't you think. Else why would the republican polling companies, regardless of the way the public abhors the republicans, they still make sure they are leading in all the polls. SETTING US UP...

about how awful the Republicans are. This same shit was pulled by the "activists" in 2000, when we were told that Gore=Bush, and it resulted in two wars, and an economy on the brink of collapse. The netroots will have blood on their hands, but I'm assuming they'll still be raking in the $$$, and let's face it, that's what this is mostly about. If they choose to use their influence to enable the real enemy, then they're enemies of the Democratic party, AFAIC.

Seeing his background as a former conservative Republican, one must wonder about his motives at times. The same goes for Ms. Huffington.

that they so often state that Obama supporters don't care about....
They just care about having it their way, or nothing at all.
