I fear a Rubio win :(
Edited on Sun Sep-19-10 09:56 PM by lunamagica
It sickens me to see him so far ahead on the polls.

All this guy ever talks about is how he's going to make sure Obama is unable to accomplish anything; how his job will be to be a stone in Obama's path making sure he trips and falls.

I guess no one saw the debate on Univision between Meek, Crist And Rubio. Rubio seemed to be reading from a script. When he was asked to clarify an answer he'd repeat the same thing word for word. He told the Spanish speaking audience he was for making English the official language and how he was for the Arizona immigration law. Another winner was when he said that everyone should buy their own health insurance.

I'm not an expert on politics and I still have a lot to learn; but I don't understand why so many Democrats want to vote for Crist. If all Dems voted for Meek he'd have a fighting chance. He IS the Democratic candidate. Rubio is so far to the right it's frightening. He will do real damage.

The man is plain evil.

3. I was looking for the debate but couldn't find it. You didn't say how Meek did...
with Crist's performance as you describe it, maybe mst Dems. will be turned off of Crist and vote for Meek.

4. Meek was very enthusiastic; quite passionate and articulate
He attacked, but he also talked about his projects for school, for the environment, how he was the only one for the working people while the other two where for corporations

As far as I'm concerned there was no contest. It was clear that he was the only one who wouldn't work for the wealthy

and Meek will WIN the election!

I looked for video of the debate and only found clips from Meek's website: http://www.kendrickmeek.com/index.php/weblog/archive/watch_the_first_u.s._senate_debate/

6. They have completely off the reservation lunatics ...
on the ballot all over the freakin country ...

it isn't like they don't already have more deranged extremists like Bachmann in congress already, but this election cycle has been about doubling down on the stupid - Brewer in Arizona, Angle, Miller, O'Donnell ...

It just is astounding how these people who are clearly on the fringe can get into office this year ...
