1. Tough crap; Biden is accurate, and I don't think he cares
if he hurts these creeps' feelings.

5. I'm with you I don't understand why the Democrats are
groveling in front of republicans.

4. This is funny in that fighting Biden's words, they cause a discussion of whether
the Republican party and the tea party are one and the same. That the Republicans are irate is fascinating. Doesn't that insult the tea party, which just won a large number of their Senate nominations? Also, doesn't the outrage imply they think the tea party is not a positive?

The fact is that demographic polls long ago showed that the tea party was pure and simple the right wing of the Republican party. Try as the Republicans have done, the tea party is not pulling members from both parties - remember the polls that showed that self identified tea party people had a higher opinion of Bush than has been seen of all self described Republicans? How many 2008 DUers became tea party candidates? You would think if it were independent of political party, at the beginning of the movement, there would have been some and they would have argued for the tea party in a Democratic frame. (How that could be done is beyond me as most of the tea party beliefs seem 180 degrees from Democratic positions.)

This was a brilliant, very clever comment by Biden.
