"Fool me once, shame on you - fool me twice......won't get fooled again".

And then the smirking face of George W Bush.

Then the voice-over ad:

"People, they fooled you for eight long years. They said they were going to create jobs. They said they were going to balance the budget. They were going to do away with regulations and let Big Business and Wall Street do their thing. And they did...

With your help, they put this country into a deep, deep recession. This President is doing the best he can do under the circumstances and most knowledgeable people think he has done an incredible job at keeping us out of a depression. We are not out of the hole yet. We could slide back down.

They fooled you once. Don't let them fool you again..."

Fade away music:

The Who, Won't Get Foooled Again..

:-)

5. Here's The G.W.B. Fool Me Once Video - Now We Need Someone To Do The Voiceover......
suggested in the original post. Then we need to take the finished product viral. We should even start a fund to get this ad on TV before Nov.

6. it still amazes me
that pResident Bu$h couldn't even get that stupid old adage right -- let alone anything else during his term as "The Decider."

What a shameful, dark 8 years that was (shudder).

They can take this and then morph their opponents' face onto Bush's at the end.

9. Great concept. I think it would hit harder without the second paragraph. Focus only on the pugs

fooling the public. Don't give the viewer a flipside of what Obama has done or tried to do. Weigh the focus 100% on the failure of gop. Add a photo montage of candidates running today along with Bush, Cheney, et al, and that could be a seriously strong ad. Very simple to understand.

Nice work!
