Was Virginia Thomas accusing Anita Hill of more than a false sexual harrassment allegation?
Her choice of words in the telephone message was very interesting. She didn't ask for Professor Hill to apologize for what she supposedly did "to" her husband by testifying against him but instead referenced what she ostensibly did "with" her husband. A very interesting choice of words.

Is it possible that Thomas is not just nursing a bizarrely long grudge against Professor Hill but also may also have delusions about the nature of the her relationship with her husband?

Hmmmm...

1. It's possible
It was very bizarre that she phoned her in the first place, so I would be surprised is there was some crazy reasoning behind the call.

..does the fact that she did-whatever- WITH her husband, mean that HE must apologize too?

3. one thing you can be pretty sure of
she was delusional when she made that call. Whether she is always delusional, or just temporarily, or under the influence of drugs and alcohol is the big question. The call was not anywhere close to being within the range of normal behavior.

4. Red Wine and Ambien, you're talking shit again..........
I can't remember the name of the song but it seems to be all over the radio these days. Noteworthy for having Ambien in the lyrics, that, and likely having a connection to Mrs. Clarence Thomas' unfortunate unsolicited phone call to Ms. Hill.

5. It's interesting that even Thomas' staunchest defenders aren't trying to justify this one
"It just doesn't make any sense" is the most they seem willing to say.

Very, very strange.
